Stop

I consider the consequence
If I decide to just stop
Cease all movement
In any direction
Falsely shake hands
With complacency
Piece by piece, lay it out
For all to see
And then walk away
Would it make things easier
Everyone could pick up
Their preferred parts
And leave the garbage behind
Precise and with intent
They pass the plate around

  1. So true. Pushed, pulled, stretched and rolled out thin, too thin. Overwhelmed, we might want to just give in, lay down, break apart, everyone take a piece until nothing’s left. As always, I am touched by your words.
